CAFT - Customer Automated Funds Transfer

CAFT is an online service for businesses wanting to create and deliver pre-authorized debits and direct deposit transactions. With CAFT, you can do transactions with employees, customers, suppliers and accounts at other credit unions and financial institutions across Canada.
CAFT transfers funds from one account to another, at any pre-determined date for a constant or changing amount.
Some examples where CAFT may be used to automate transfers include:
• Payroll
• Accounts payable
• Accounts receivable
• Rent payments
• Membership fees
• Charitable donations
• Any regular receipt of funds

Payroll Deposits

If you are an employee or employer, setting up automatic payroll deposits are simple, safe and have many benefits.

As an employer, automatic payroll deposits are a great benefit to offer your employees. Just let us know you want to provide this service and we will walk you through the setup process. This service simplifies payroll administration and account reconciliation. In addition, payments don’t get lost or stolen and this service lowers the risk of forgery, stolen cheques and counterfeit.

MasterCard® is accepted at more than 28 million locations worldwide, but there are a few places where it is not. When planning trips outside Canada, please be advised that transactions made in Iran, Myanmar (Burma), North Korea, and Sudan will be declined. Be sure to check before traveling.
