At CCEC Credit Union we believe that using the services of co-ops and progressive businesses and promoting awareness of non-profit organizations is essential to our community's well being and continued economic development. As you can see from the listing categories, there is a wide range of products and services offered, and many interests represented among our member groups and businesses.
This Directory is intended to facilitate networking among the co-operatives, non-profit organizations and businesses who are members of CCEC Credit Union, and to promote their services, products and mandates to individual members of CCEC and of its member groups.
By supporting our own member businesses and groups we keep funds within our community, allow greater self-reliance and create local employment. We came together in the Spring of 2007 when it was clear that the housing promises made in the bid for the 2010 Olympics were not going to be kept. We believe that homelessness will be eliminated only when: there is a permanent national housing program funded by all levels of government that annually builds new housing stock; and welfare and minimum wage rates are increased. We organize to change government policy so that social housing will be built and income levels raised.

Early Music Vancouver was founded in 1970, and has been bringing world-class music to appreciative audiences for 40 years. Tiqilap Singers are a group that is based out the Native Education College, and have been around since 2001. Their songs are collectively created by the group based on traditional Salish music forms under the direction of Russell Wallace.
